By tearing off the petals one by one, you can tell the heart of the person you love secretly. I love you, I don't love you... I love you, I don't love you... I love you... When you see overwhelming hope in the last of the flower petals that fall one by one, you become happy as if you have the whole world. Today, we are going to learn about the beautiful Marguerite, who comes like the first love of new spring.

What about Marguerite?!

This plant, commonly called tree margaret, is a perennial plant. However, when grown in pots at home, it is difficult to last more than a year. The reason is that it cannot withstand hot and humid summer weather well. It is a plant that grows well in open areas near rivers that receive moderate shade, and because it looks so pretty, it is very popular as a material for flower bouquets. Margaret, who tempts with her appetizing fried egg-like appearance, has the flower language of “foretelling love.” That's why it's a good flower to gift to someone whose love you haven't confirmed yet. It means "I want to test your love..."

After the flowers bloom in late spring, you can propagate them by pruning the area where the flowers are growing and planting them in water in the fall. However, most of them cannot survive the hot summer and die. Therefore, it is distributed more as a cut flower product than as a differentiated plant. However, if you place a wooden margaret in a small, pretty pot on a breezy window, there will be no such fairytale-like view. It's so pretty that it takes your soul away.

This Marguerite is often confused with a daisy. If you look closely at the shape of the flower, there is a slight difference, but it is not easy to tell them apart, but you can tell them apart by looking at the shape of the leaves. Normally, the leaves of Marguerite are pointed, like the leaves of daisy or holly, but the leaves of daisy are long and streamlined. You can tell them apart by looking at the leaves. Daisies are also in full bloom at this time of year, and there is a field of Shasta daisy flowers in a place called Jinbatgol in Suseong-gu, Daegu, Korea, creating a flower garden like a garden in a fairy tale. It's such a beautiful place, so be sure to stop by this time next year.

Take advantage of Marguerite

At flower markets, they are sold in single bundles wrapped in plastic, called wooden margarets. I prefer to condition it properly with just Marguerite , wrap it in a non-woven or Korean paper-like wrapping paper, and tie it with yarn. This is a way to bring out the wild and warm feeling that this flower gives. Sometimes, they package with OPP film or use translucent paper, but I think Hanji is still stylish.

One thing to be careful about when conditioning is that sometimes products sold at flower markets are sold with mites attached. When choosing, it is best to check for the presence or absence of ticks. This tree margaret has rather thick and sturdy stems, so it can go well with other gerberas or roses. Alternatively, you can use the grouping technique to decorate one side of the centerpiece like a small field of wild flowers. However, daisies that look similar to this one have somewhat weak stems, so even the slightest misconditioning will cause them to fall off quickly. In this case, you need to quickly wash it off with boiling water. After watering, the flower faces turn towards the sky again.Similar to Margaret, in addition to daisies, there is also egg soup. Because it is from the Soguk family, it has strong stems and is good for creating a neat look, so try using it.
